Genni is our Scheduling Coordinator and has been with the team for 15 years. You will always see her smiling face at the front desk. When Genni’s not working she enjoys time with her family and taking in all of the sites and attractions the Palmetto state has to offer.
Kathryn has been a dental hygienist in the low country for 23 years. She is always willing to lend a hand where needed; you might find her in the hygiene chair, assisting the doctors, or upfront greeting patients. She and her husband Chuck have a handsome son Dylan, who is 14. They live in the country with their dogs, horses, cats and sugar bears. When not at work, Kat spends her free time with family, riding horses, 4-wheeling, boating or going to the gun club.
Marlene has been a dental hygienist for over 35 years. She was a past president of both the Charleston and South Carolina Dental Hygiene Associations. She is a former recipient of the Dr. Ralph E. Levine Dental Hygienist of the year award. Marlene also served as a delegate from South Carolina to the American Dental Hygienists’ Association. She is an ongoing member of the Charleston, South Carolina and the American Dental Hygienists’ Associations. Marlene is very active in her church and the community. In her free time, she enjoys RV-ing and being in the great outdoors with family and friends.
Pam has been an Expanded Duty Certified Dental Assistant for 37 years. She has worked with our team for the past 15 years. Her husband Mark is a district supervisor with the SC State Parks Department. She has one daughter named Hannah who is married and lives nearby. In her spare time, Pam enjoys home improvement projects with her husband and dancing with her friends. She also likes going to church and seeing all the latest movies.
Jen is our Marketing & Scheduling Coordinator. She has worked in the medical and dental field for over 25 years in the Carolinas. Jen is originally from Asheville, North Carolina and has been in the Low Country for over 4 years. She is married to Todd and they live in Mount Pleasant with their two Australian Shepherds, Cali & Bella. They are car enthusiasts and also enjoy spending time at the beach, fishing, cycling, and the low country lifestyle.
Cheryl graduated in 1976 with an Associate’s degree in Dental Assisting from MUSC and TTC. She started her dental assisting career at the MUSC dental school. Cheryl joined our team in 1998. She is a Charleston native and has been a member of the Garden Club for over 30 years. Cheryl and her husband love being “Pop & Lolly” to their awesome grandson!
recently joined us as a dental assistant. She has lived in Charleston for the past 10 years, but previously lived in the Rocky Mountains and England. Growing up in a military family and moving around has taught her the love of family, life, and hard work ethics. Her motto is that a little elbow grease and a lot of hard work will always triumph. When she is not helping others achieve their dream smile she is giving people a reason to! She lives a very active lifestyle, has a passion for running, and believes being outdoors is the best therapy.
Connie is happily married to Dr. Rink and enjoys her role as CFO. She is a Tarheel same as Dr. Rink having graduated from University of North Carolina with a degree in pharmacy. She and Dr. Rink enjoy traveling to Chapel Hill to visit their daughter who is following in their footsteps as a UNC student as well as visiting their son in Columbia who studies at the “other Carolina”. Connie recently successfully completed and earned certification in the Business Essentials program from the UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School. When not working with Dr. Rink, his amazing staff and our wonderful patients, Connie enjoys running, reading, cooking and gardening. Connie and Dr. Rink love to spend time on the water and at the beach with family and friends and their two adorable King Charles Spaniel pups.
Amy has been a dental hygienist in the low country for 23 years. She is a Trident Technical College graduate and is very patient focused. She strives for every appointment to be a pleasant and enjoyable experience. When Amy is away from the office, she enjoys weekend adventures to the mountains with her husband Ron and two children, Ren and Karrigan. Amy and her children are also avid volunteers at Dorchester Paws Animal Shelter. Amy is a lifelong resident of Summerville.
