Chief Financial Officer
From: Kinston, North Carolina and have lived in Charleston for the past 32 years.
Training: I love my role as CFO at CCCRD. I am a graduate of the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill with a degree in Pharmacy. GO TARHEELS! In 2018, I completed the Business Essentials program from UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School with a certification in Business Management. Grateful for the many continuing education opportunities we invest in to continue to learn and grow with our amazing team to create the best experience possible for our patients.
Family: Dr Rink and I are blessed with two amazing children that we love making memories with in the beautiful Lowcountry and on our travels. Our daughter is a UNC graduate as well and we like to say our son attends the “other Carolina”.
Hobbies: I am passionate about serving, especially alongside St Philip’s Church and the LAMB ministry in Honduras. I enjoy running, reading, traveling, cooking Italian, and gardening. For me it doesn’t get any better than spending quality time on the water and at the beach with my family and friends and our adorable King Charles Spaniel pups!
From: Sheralyn is from the upstate of South Carolina and just moved to Charleston this June to join Dr. Rink’s team.
Training: Her experience runs deep in all aspects of dentistry and her primary focus has involved positions in operational management across both solo and group practices. Her most recent career path led to a consulting position where she taught and trained dental teams in patient communications and operations management. “We hired Sheralyn as a dental consultant and liked her so much, I offered her the position of Operations Coordinator”, says Dr. Rink. Sheralyn is warm and caring and is dedicated to providing the best possible experience for our patients.
Family: My husband and I have two amazing grown children and three grandchildren here in Charleston. We have a dog, named Gus, and are blessed with five grand-dogs!
Hobbies: I value spending time with family and going on family vacations. I love hiking and waterfall-hunting in upstate South Carolina, exploring the creeks and marshes of the Lowcountry, and cheering on my grandchildren at baseball games and cheerleading and gymnastic events!
From: Greenville, South Carolina
Training: I moved to Charleston in 2011 and attended Trident Technical College to receive my Associate’s Degree in Dental Hygiene. I strive to continue my education in dental hygiene and to stay up to date on leading information in my field through advanced training with the American Dental Hygiene Association, the South Carolina Dental Hygiene Association, and the American Academy of Oral and Systemic Health.
Family: My husband Nick and I have two beautiful dogs, Max and Ellie and now the proud parents of a baby boy!
Hobbies: I like to be outdoors, spend time at Kiawah, and am always finding new places to travel!
From: Wisconsin, but moved to Charleston in my early teens and have been loving it ever since!
Training: While pursuing a career in nursing and dental assisting, I worked in the beauty industry for 10 years. During this time, I actually shadowed Dr. Rink in his office for several months! I then made the decision to attend the Expanded Duties Dental Assisting program at Trident Technical College and am enjoying a wonderful career in the dental field for the past 25 years. Working for Dr. Rink after all of these years is no coincidence! I have worked in many different dental specialties, including Implant Dentistry, Oral Surgery & Sedation, and Periodontics & Total Mouth Reconstruction. I strongly believe that both dentistry & beauty come together to give our patients a smile that can change their lives.
Hobbies: I love nothing more than spending time with my family and going on walks with my “grand-dog” Kingston!
From: Charleston, SC

I have also completed the Bale and Doneen Preceptorship Course which is designed for health care professionals to help prevent cardiovascular disease in their patients.
Family: I have two wonderful grown children, and love spending time with Sophie, our 4-legged child!
Hobbies: Outside of the dental office, I love spending time volunteering in the community and at my church. I enjoy the great outdoors through walking and hiking! I love relaxing with a good book and spending time with friends and family.
Dental Hygienist and Dental Assistant
From: North Augusta, SC and just moved to Charleston in July 2021!
Training: I have practiced as a dental hygienist for over 10 years. In 2008, I graduated from the Medical College of Georgia with a Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene. As a dental hygienist, I like to gain more knowledge and continue to grow as a professional by attending continuing education courses, and recently attended the annual American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry conference in Orlando, Florida with the team! In 2016, I received my license to deliver local infiltration anesthesia from the South Carolina Board of Dentistry.
Hobbies: I absolutely love living at the coast. My favorite things to do when I'm not in the dental office include trying new restaurants, biking to Sullivan's Island, walking on the beach, and exploring new places in Charleston.
Tucker & Buddy love to visit the office and greet our patients! If needed, they are happy to jump in the dental chair to give our patients some comfort. When not at the office,Tucker loves to play, especially when his older brother Buddy wants to take a nap. He’s not quite the retriever that Buddy is, but still loves the boat and the beach. Will give kisses for tummy rubs! Buddy’s favorite activity is chasing the ball on the beach and swimming in the pool. He is the best work pal and loves good cuddles.
