Global Outreach
Dr. Rink believes that dental care is a privilege that should extend beyond the walls of his practice. For over a decade, he has traveled internationally to provide dental care to underserved communities, partnering with organizations like the LAMB Institute in Honduras.
LAMB Institute Mission Trip | Tegucigalpa, Honduras
Dr. Rink, along with Connie Rink, Marlene Baber, and Hannah Young, traveled to the LAMB Children's Home in Tegucigalpa, Honduras, to provide dental care to 65 children and 20 staff members.
The LAMB Institute holds personal significance for Dr. Rink. The Children's Home was founded more than 20 years ago by Suzie McCall, a missionary and longtime friend from Charleston. This was the team's second trip to the facility in three years, delayed previously by COVID.
"We had a super time taking care of the children and staff. We could see the benefits from our previous efforts," said Dr. Rink.
2020 Mission Trip | LAMB Children's Home, Tegucigalpa, Honduras
In 2020, Dr. Rink and the team made their first trip to the LAMB Children's Home, providing dental care to all children and staff at the facility.
The LAMB Institute has served vulnerable children in Honduras for decades. Dr. Rink's connection to the organization through Suzie McCall reflects his longstanding commitment to service-driven care that goes beyond what any practice can provide on its own.
