In addition to traditional porcelain veneers, we offer ultra-thin, minimal prep and prep-less porcelain veneers as another option for enhancing the appearance of discolored, chipped, and misaligned teeth. Ultra-thin, minimal prep and prep-less veneers are made from a unique porcelain composite that can be as thin as 0.2 to 0.3 millimeters - about half the thickness of traditional veneers. As a result, the teeth receiving ultra-thin, minimal prep and prep-less veneers do not necessarily need to be reduced in size in order to make room for the porcelain, thereby leaving much or all of the original enamel intact.
