What is Accreditation?
John F. Rink has achieved Accredited status in the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD) – the FIRST in Charleston, SC to join just over 250 dental professionals in the world who have earned the prestigious designation. Dr. Rink reached this status through a dedication to continuing education and careful adherence to clinical protocol.
Through the AACD’s advanced credentialing program for dentists and dental laboratory technicians, an Accredited Member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry® has completed extensive advanced training and education in cosmetic dentistry.
AACD members who wish to become Accredited must undergo a three-part process consisting of a written examination, submission of clinical cases for evaluation and an oral examination. Each candidate must also attend a series of workshops as part of the program. An Accredited Member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry® has successfully passed a rigorous Accreditation Board Examination of their work and cases. An Accredited Member is a dentist who has demonstrated a very high level of clinical excellence and ability in cosmetic dentistry.
